This is just between you and me,
please don`t let it fly,
in the dark moments
when the word is no longer flowing,
you can tell the whole city
how we travel this road in style.
You can tell them of our stories
and our history,
but please direct them to where
they will feel the true memories of our struggle.
You can do away with our medals and
our titles
bu never hide our words, our dream and our desire
from those who care to listen.
You can take all our glory and our crown
but this is all I need from you,
remember our names and what we represent
after all, that is what matters..
